Pinnacle

You know Shy, there is no one that hates Pinnacle more than I do, except for you. But at least I know the ones that need hating, most are just making it through this nightmare.
And even I can let it go, and I still work at this pathetic place. At least you got out.
I hope you are enjoying yourself, the rest of us just see a sad bitter person.

Shy, Id be careful poking at anyone right now.... Working for VA is much like a pinnacle FO buying an Aston Martin with his/her concession check tomorrow... Yes he/she may have the money right now, and can afford the payment right now, but eventually that money is gonna run out and the tow truck driver is gonna take that nice Aston Martin away. The latest VA financial reports were NOT good... $31.7 million LOSS for 2012, and $15 million LOSS for the first quarter of 2013.. Thats a lot of money, and Yes Branson is backing it, but do you think he is in the business of loosing that much money?? Be careful patronizing your old co-workers. I know your joking and messing around (I have a pretty good sense of humor) but some of your fellow brethren do get butt hurt easy, and you never know when you need a fellow co-worker... Good luck big homie.

Obviously. Most of that single 135 stuff is at night and that's usually when ATC is quiet and traffic very light. How hard can it be. Oh boo hoo thunderstorms? You can see lightning at night from miles away. This is a much lower skill level than us major/LCC guys flying the real metal in the busiest of airports at the busiest of times. Now that involves some serious skill. Not flying into Evansville.
I'm only on 2nd year pay and on track to clear $82k. 4 to 6 times higher would mean $410,000 - $492,000. Name one corporate job that pays that much? 3am. Ring ring, ring ring. Hello? It's the boss's daughter. She needs to get to Teterboro now. Oh, isn't Jim on call tonight? He didn't answer, you did. Ugh ok. She likes McDonalds, pick it up on the way. Alright, anything else? Yes, one more thing. The airplane is out of sanitary napkins and it's that time of the month for her.... so fix that problem, hopefully that Walmart is open. Ok, I'll be there in 40 minutes. No, we need you there in 20.

Thought you were still on first year pay, so I guess only triple your pay... Always had my schedule at least 3 or 4 weeks in advance, and was only rarely asked for a change to that schedule usually at least a week beforehand. Maintenance and catering took care of the other details you wrongly assumed to be flightcrew responsibility.

Keep trying! By the way, I heard from a good buddy who's been with Virgin since almost the beginning, that he's not real sure how much longer Branson is willing to keep his money losing U.S. operation going...

I honestly don't need any company. My strength comes from my family and god. As long as I have those, I'm always good to go. And besides, what could I possibly need from cheap subcontracted "hired help" at the regional level? They aren't real pilots as the chart has shown.

I feel sorry for you because judging the amount of time you spend on APF, the rest of your life must not be attractive enough to pull you away. Must suck...all you will ever be is an "Airline Pilot"...not Dad, Husband, Grandfather, friend, etc.
Give APF a break bro and go enjoy life instead of arguing pointless facts that nobody cares about.
