When it came time to vote, 9E was hearing lots of shout outs from all these pilot groups who where loading up on rethoric about hanging in there, stay strong and basically asking 9E to fall on the sword on their behalf for the regional industry's sake, while they where just standing by the sidelines.

Pinnacle lost all the Saabs and all the Q's and will soon be getting rid of 200's and still will not need to furlough. The regional game is a new paradigm.

You do realize that is all due to pilots talking with their feet? Hundreds and hundreds have left since Jan 1, 2012.
No, Colgan lost all the Saabs and all the Qs. Too bad they didn't lose career expectations. Those are preserved. Even if the new 9E tanks altogether, all Colgan pilots will be offered a Delta class date to preserve their career expectations. The reason is only Colgan pilots started at a regional with an expectation to make it to a major.

Man, you know what the sad thing is, you don't even work here anymore yet you get worked up about all this. Get over it. You moved on. Do you know how pathetic you sound. You post more on a pinnacle thread than a VX thread. Kinda stupid don't you think. You seem like a nice guy with good intentions. But man, go get laid or something. And if you are married, have the Mrs. clean the pipes every once in awhile. There's too much other stuff in this world to get worked up about a merger between 3 different regionals, regionals you left from.

How do you say it? "But please don't let facts get in the way of a good bashing..."?

Yup. In my scenario on my entire previous post (not only what you quoted) I address the POSSIBLE outcome in case Delta wasnt bluffing.
It really doesn't matter if you and I think they where bluffing. The moment the company, and more surprisingly, the UNION guarantees a wind down as a possible outcome if we don't pass that pos contract, it is every pilot's responsibility to include that to their equation and must give it some weight in their decision making process. Now, probably you and me would give it very little weight, since we may both think they are bluffing, and we would vote accordingly. Other pilots may give it more weight based on their own perspective and opinion of the situation, and vote accordingly also.
The truth is, no one can really tell what would've happened if the contract would've been rejected. As much as we may think they were bluffing, we will never know. The other regional pilot groups certainly didnt know for a fact what was going to happen to 9E if the new agreement was rejected. Hell, if they would've known for a fact that 9E was never going to shut down I bet every one of them would offered their full year salary and their first born to 9E in order to vote no...

No, Pinnacle Corp lost all the Saabs and all the Qs. Phil Trenary signed the unprofitable contracts with United and the reason that flying was wound down was because Delta was not going to finance the competition with bankruptcy loans.

Fair enough. I feel like some part of it I can't get over because 3 idiots ruined everything and I feel like that part of my life was a waste of time all the way to 5th year pay. I'll get over it at some point.
