Shy, you were a Colgan guy?, or Pinnacle guy? I hated Colgan for a while, but I came to accept the fact that it was my choice to work there. I also got to fly a Turbo-prop (T-prop guys are better sticks, it's a fact of life, and chicks dig beta).

Anyway, the point is I hope every single guy at Pinnacle gets to flow to Delta, or leave to go to whatever major they want, why do you seem to wish I'll-will towards the group?

Also, don't pretend like you don't miss the RJ, I miss the 145 tremendously. The airbus is great to make a living in, but it's not as fun to hand fly as an RJ was, not even close (or I could just suck which is more likely the case), it also takes longer to do the walk around

Shy was whatever you want him to be. He is your scourge, your whipping child, the bane of your existence.

Now, where's my trumpet....

Not to take anything away from them, (I think their time should count) they just don't get pilot-like training on anything except systems. Whereas, navigators in the air force are trained like pilots, in every aspect except operating the controls. Yet, our time does not count towards the mins for ATP. Sorry for the rant. As you can probably tell, that's a sore subject for me.
2. I'm way too old for UPT.
3. Yes.
Rant away. I ran into an acquaintance (spelling?) who need up becoming an FE on Hercs. He told me the time was log able...so he went from civilian private pilot to logging 130 time! Too bad for you though, thanks for your service.

So are we now pulling each others' legs????

Shy was original 9E. He was from JetU. He didn't endear himself to fellow jetU grads like BQ or SL.

SL is a good guy, I wasn't aware I left a bad impression to him. As best as I recall, our interactions were normal conversations. I don't think I ever had any sims with him. I liked him, he seemed personable and mature.

BQ is the last guy at 9E who would ever paint a fair picture of me, so don't put faith in his words.

So they guys here don't like you and the folks at pinnacle don't like you either. Sounds to me like you should move on.

The only thing FE time is loggable for is the 500 counted toward the ATP (and you need 1500 to count the full 500). Nav time should absolutely be counted for the ATP. It's probably just an oversight by the rules people since the Navigator position is specific to the military, not civilian like the FE's.

If FE time was looked at as flight time I might have a better chance at getting called by United or AA with 9600 total instead of just 1600! lol.
