U do realize there are maybe 200-250 Colgan CAs that went over to the 9E side? Probably less than that when all is said and done.

It was 600 pilots when the company was at the largest size, but now I hardly know any 9L peeps that are still there. Most have left for other places myself included. All I'm saying is dont get your panties in a wad over a few guys that got displaced to bases they didn't want. Take a look at the Seniority list and count just how many guys are actually ca's from 9L and then subtract 20 more since they don't update it. I know I'm still showing on the list. It's not that many people in the grand scheme of things. I barely held RJ Ca when I was displaced as a late 07 hire and was going to be downgraded. There were 5 captains in my class of 30 going to the 9e side and about 15 others in that class were downgraded. There are maybe 7 guys still at 9E from that class

They weren't ca's to begin with and the most senior 9L guys that will be able to hold ca when all the training is done is 2005 hires. The same as the 9E guys go figure. What I was getting at is that it sucked for everyone including the 9L guys. Many guys quit some even completely left the industry. Also you are getting fired up about what 100 so guys that are captains at the moment (temporary while everyone is in training who will be downgraded) at a company you don't even work for. It seems to me Bloch made a good choice because everyone was unhappy from all sides of the 3 way merger. So move on already. You want to have a regional like usairways ? look how great that fighting turned out.

Well how big was Colgan? 600 pilots? So that's basically all the Colgan pilots. Plus, the chatter back then from the 9L guys was "Oh, we're content on our planes, we don't want bigger jets." Yet, once the first vacancy came out, the majority of the new ATL -900 Captains were Colgan. Go figure.
