So lets do it. I don't get why people are afraid to have a walk out day. Even if participation is 25% across the regionals there will still be a hit and do people honestly think management could afford to fire 25% of the workforce? They can't even find people to fly currently.

timing is an issue though, too tight for the initial deliver schedule to get everything together.
See two options:
1.) Goes to a regional that already has the E170/175 on certificate
2.) Mainline takes it.
- In that case, expect United to upconvert the E175 to E190s or E195. That fulfils a scope requirement in the new contract, allowing them to have more 70 seaters further down the line. (see "1-C-1-g Number of 76-Seat Aircraft").
To make that happen they would probably need to delay delivieries.
