Be wonderful but there is no payrate for such a bird at UAL. Any pay rate they negotiate would still be higher than what any other current 175 operator would be able to do them for.

Not saying I dont want this but just dont see it happening. Please reality - prove me wrong.

timing is an issue though, too tight for the initial deliver schedule to get everything together.

See two options:

1.) Goes to a regional that already has the E170/175 on certificate

2.) Mainline takes it.
- In that case, expect United to upconvert the E175 to E190s or E195. That fulfils a scope requirement in the new contract, allowing them to have more 70 seaters further down the line. (see "1-C-1-g Number of 76-Seat Aircraft").
To make that happen they would probably need to delay delivieries.

True, but there is for the E190.

as they are a lot higher than regionals i think ual will probably take the risk of regional staffing being low.
