Isn't SKW inc working on the Ejet program at SKW and EXJ? Could it be that EXJ will be the first airline to roll them and what they are actually waiting for is the concessions. Delta has the concessions set, AA is trying to match Delta and United's is mainly done by EXJ and SKW whom are considered "expensive" regionals. We know that it's about what United pays SKW not what SKW pays the pilots but they sort of go hand in hand.

Not if they want them flying in January. No way to get a training program up by then. Supposedly the FAA has sent the word out that any requests for new certificates or training programs for new aircraft will be slowed down due to staffing shortages caused by the sequester. I heard that is what is slowing California Pacific's certification. Rumor has it they were the low bid for these airplanes but UAL decided to move on when they couldn't get their certificate up and running in time to start flying in January.
