United buys 30 E175s

Probably because INC already knows that it will be going to Skywest but it is odd for him to come out and make a statement without United announcing it. If I recall, don't they usually say oh well we didn't get the flying after the mainline carrier announces who won the bid? Also, I thought for some reason the L-XJT had some rights of refusal for replacement aircraft.

The only thing we know for sure is that they're not going to ExpressJet, and Nevets has been talking out his anus, as usual.

The only good thing to come out of this, is maybe management's gross incompetence in losing this bid will cause them to miss the 1 year deadline to place 70 seat aircraft at XJT, and thus negate your massively concessionary arbitration award. I was certain that these planes were going to L-XJT. I'm shocked they're not, and now, it's anybody's ball game... except yours.

Anyway, the deadline can always be extended.

More dense than I thought. Inc still has the first right of refusal. These aircraft are not replacing XJT's 145s. BH mentioned on the conference call that 14 145 leases had expired an were extended. Replacement sometime next year. UAL's order for these 30 aircraft included 40 options. UAL's scope allows up to 153 76 seaters starting Jan 1. You honestly believe UAL will stop with 30? Come on, you can't possibly be this dense! Really, was is it about any of this that doesn't make sense to you?
Anyway, the deadline can always be extended.

Let me say it one more time for you, just because some other regional is getting these 30 aircraft does not null and void Inc's first right of refusal on replacing XJT's aircraft. Is that so hard to understand?

You are the one who references me in every other post lately. Anyway, I'm not referencing anything they have said ever said to me. Everything I've said about his is public knowledge.
