I think United will be following Delta's lead in the whipsawing game of their regional partners, so the likelihood of it going to one carrier might be low. Hopefully its a 1:1 exchange for a 50 seater to whoever gets these at their carrier.

It's been going on since the 90's of a legacy playing one regional carrier off against another for the cheapest feed possible.
It was way, way worse during the BK's. The legacies have even MORE leverage to do so.

As would I but the reality is that it won't happen with them ordering 30 of these aircraft and it going to a regional partner. So since it is not going to mainline, will you be happy with a higher ratio for this aircraft which could result in pilots on the street for that carrier?

I just said that since Delta is pretty good at that game than the other legacies it seems or maybe I have just heard more about them than the others.

The ONLY reason CAL never got to play that game (till 2006 anyway) was because they wrote it into the XJT CPA that way.
Must have really burned up CAL management when EVERY other legacy was able to drive the cost of the regional feed down like crazy while they were paying cost + 10% for theirs.
