Don't antagonize people. You know exactly what the OP means.

Strong winds caused it. Terminal cameras show the aircraft parked at the gate then strong winds came through, and the camera went white. When everything was done there were skid marks on the pavement where the mains slid about 10 feet, and the nose a couple of feet, and was slammed into a jetbridge

The 50 seat aircraft(except the XRs) are quite frankly pieces of poo. They can't even carry alternate fuel without bumping a lot of people. There will be no pilot shortage, there will however, be a lot of 50 seaters collecting sand in the desert.

And apparently a lot of those engines still have good life left in them, instead of overhauling our -B engines when they come due, Delta said its cheaper to pull -A engines out of the desert and put them back in service. So now were beginning to see planes with mixed engine types, requiring us look-up engine setting off of paper charts, Thanks Big-D!

Don't worrry, they have lots of room for XJT's EMB-145's. By years end, they'll be plenty of them stitting there.

Are they parking the I-pads in the desert too? LOL...
