That rumor is from over at EAgle lounge I don't think is true.. .what was said in the AA class on June 5th was they are expecting hiring in Oct and it will be 50mo.
They did cancel one class because training dept. is backed up. They need he pilots at AA more than Eagle.

They can do all the Roadshows they want. That doesn't mean the 824's are leaving soon. Remember kids, they have to keep the moral up somehow.

Makes absolute sense, do 824 roadshow with projections to get people's hopes up and improve moral all the while cancel classes at AA and tell the Eagle pilots that it will me X amount longer for them to flow. Yea that will not **** people off at all, the same with all the FO whom lost their vacation as they were awarded an upgrade, they will be just peachy to see their training date be pushed back.

Flowthru shut down at least for 2 months for now. It will be interesting how many of the 824's will get to flow to the land of rainbows and unicorns as the date of the merger becomes closer.

Enlighten us how AA will shrink and US AIrways will grow just so the 824 don't flow from the regional who will park airplanes and lose flying as everyone else picks up the flying!

It's very simple, the training department at AA is backlogged. AMR actually tried to invite the last number of numbered guys ahead of schedule and just at the last minute over 30 AA pilots on furlough accepted recall. The class is full of AA pilots and the training center is already backlogged. This will likely be the tune for August as well since the payout date gets closer those who were waiting for junior folks to get on property first so they had a little cushion when they hit the line accept. But please tell me how US Airways management who will lead the combined umbrella will just crap all over the MOU and **** on the 824 agreement.

Parker has repeatedly said that it will be first QT 2015 before they have a single certificate.

There are about 1,200 undeferals left. They are slowly coming back pushing AE flows and the 824's down.

It could be months or years for the flow to be over with.

The deferrals will stop coming back after the payout is over.

Oy...

You have no idea... Do you even know why the deferrals decided to come back? I'll give you a hint. Equity Stake payout.
