Does anyone know if I should put down on my resume that I washed out of training at another regional? I tried going from being a flight instructor of Cessna 172s to flying a EMB 145. I got overwhelmed and didn't do well in training. I think flying a smaller turboprop somewhere else might be better.

I think with the Pilot Records Improvement Act they are required to get your training records from your previous employer, so yes. Be honest about it, what happened, and how you got better because of the experience, and what you've done to make sure it won't happen again....turn it into a positive.

You seem to have good attitude about what went wrong. It isn't the best job in the world, it's not the best place to work but if you apply at call Airmidwest and talk to the Chief Pilot you can most likely get an interview with Mesa to fly the 1900. You may just apply straight up at Mesa and who knows they might put you through the crack training team on the dark side and give you another shot at the jet. It is more relaxed at AirMiddie and things are not as screwed up as they are on the jet side.

Do you only need to worry about FAILED checkrides? What about a discontinuance on one?

DMEARC: What interview did you meet me at? Please write me a PM or e-mail [email protected] along with your name?

No, my identity is going to remain anonymous. Is it true you have failed 7 or 8 because Mark, if I heard that...I wouldn't hire you.

Dmearc at least say the interview? Your statement is true and it was all on the cfi! Things took place against the faa plan of action.

Failed checkrides, uh oh. I have failed my last two. The 135 base and my upgrade in the Caravan. Retook and passed though. I also failed my CFII before that. Hope I am still worth hiring.
