Did you get your flight training from ERAU? Otherwise you're still on the 1500hr plan

Erau does need not have the LOA from the FAA yet right? So it is still 1500 hours. Also, someone chime in. I have not seen anyone or heard of our training dept issuing RATP yet. We have not earned certification yet.

This is irrelevant to the OP though because he has 1600 hours and another semester before graduation.

If the OP was thinking he needed 500 hours XC, that was a requirement in the draft rule. The final rule requires only 200 XC, so good-to-go as others have said.

Weird how this ATP rule went from requiring ATP mins for 121 to making it just as easy as before, if not easier, to get hired into 121 with a restricted ATP. They even lowered the age requirement. Might as well do away with the whole thing.

I'm confused.
How will a new CFI with 300 hrs get hired into a -121 cockpit now?
