The sole reason for BlowJet's existence is/was to screw over another pilot group by circumventing their union and creating an alter ego airline with sub standard pay rates, and work rules. That is the ONLY reason why GoJet airlines exists, period.

and YES even though you may like to think it's ancient history, YOU, by choosing to work there, are actively and explicitly complicit in condoning the actions taken to screw over TSA pilots and the rest of the industry. Furthermore, anybody willing to accept a job at BlowJet is an active participant in lowering the acceptable standards of pay, working conditions, and quality of life FOR ALL US airline pilots.

you can say all you want that all regional suck, and that regionals are not meant to be a long term career choice. Yes, you are right, fine, but that completely misses the point. That doesn't mean it's OK for you and your airline to lower the bar, just because you want to fly a shiny CRJ 700 and chase a quick upgrade.

So what's your opinion of Eagle? You know they have done that 3 or 4 times right? Okay so GoJet was formed 10 years ago? How long is long enough? What about Continental scabs? Is going to United making someone complicit?

Click-click-boom.

Had to look up salvia, wow that's how you spend your days off? What ever happened to good old Jack, Johnny or Bombay Gin? How is that thug? You might not do that salvia stuff and post or fly for hulas on that stuff...
Wow, had to burn up the Urban Dictionary tonight, salvia, scrilla whole nuther underworld out there.

Take a long time to wash that stain off, if ever.

All I'm asking is to look at the results of your theory so far. They will not work under the current structure of the regionals. Trying to lay the blame on one or two pilot groups just isn't the way to fix it. The "Moral" Ima git on my high horse and tell everyone who they should work for while I accept what I got and wont lift a finger to change anything" will not and has not and never will work.

I agree with a lot of the theory. I'm just telling you, that thought has been the popular thinking since deregulation and what have the results been? For results we have to change the whole structure of the union system. Then it will change. I have what I think will work layed out. But there has to be one list and one group (Almost like a union). Fighting amongst regional guys will keep the system just like it is now. The proof is in the history.

What don't you get???
The "theory" starts to work when the bottom feeders can't staff. Yet the Mesa, Gojet, etc. cheerleaders keep encouraging everyone to come and work for those same bottom feeders. If the worst and lowest paid carriers can't staff, they will have to improve their pay and benefits. This will finally allow an upward trend, instead of continually downward pressure on benefits and wages.
This isn't "fighting amongst regional guys", it's a common sense solution that can and will work.
It's a lot more likely to happen than "one list and one group". It is already happening at Great Lakes, and Sliver. Lakes is trying to get around the poor pay and benefits with their 135 end run.

Yep, that's right, just keep rationalizing.

My opinion of Eagle? I applaud them, they are making a stand. It's called integrity, and pride, both of which are sorely missing not only among pilots, but the world in general.

Yah, they may be fighting a loosing battle (thanks in part to airlines like BlowJet and PSA), but at least they are standing up for themselves (and the rest of the regional pilot industry). Again, it's called integrity. I would gladly buy any Eagle pilot a drink any time.

I know you like to keep beating the drum that all regional pilots are under paid, and therefore, so what? what's the difference?

The difference is, BlowJet is at the bottom of the barrel, and therefore YOU put downward pressure on the rest of the industry.
But again, I know that doesn't matter to people like you, because all you care about is getting your time, getting the quick upgrade and getting out to a major. The broader, and longer term implications to this industry and career don't matter to people like you one bit.

Saliva, babe. Saliva. Sa-live-uh. Not salvia, the hullucigenic plant.

Holy cats. Either you can't read or you're dyslexic. It's cool though. Eight out of every five pilots are dyslexic anyhow.

Yeah its cool, tomorrow I will be stone cold sober, getting things done, and you will still be one of hulas's ignorant minions. Booze wears off, stupid is forever.
