I can honestly say that even with a name change from Jetstream to PSA it was and probably still is a ****ty place to work. Unfortnately I left one s$&t hole for another.

Cheers

Sorry, I do not work for them. I think the PSA Chief pilot posts on here every now and then.

Who do you work for? You mentioned wanting to move to CLT. I recommend it. My family has been there for 1.5 years and they don't plan on leaving.

In fact, my mom moved up there as well.

I'm based in Norfolk. It would be an easy commute until the summer.

Let us know how that works out for ya in 10 years to upgrade, if they don't sell ya off or furlough.

I don't get going to Eagle. With their upgrade times, it seems to me you're practically guaranteeing yourself almost a decade of regional flying before you can move to the majors.

Actually, I'm planning on two decades of regional flying, before I retire. I will not be a stranger to my wife anymore. I will not miss my son growing up. Eagle is the only regional Jet operator with a New England domicile.

Had I been as tied to CLT as I am to BOS, I certainly would have stayed at PSA to see what happens. Parker has said that if the US-DL merger goes through he will cut 10% capacity, and he forsees no reduction in mainline flying. That sounds like bad news for #1 COMAIR, #2ASA, and #3 PSA, in that order.
