Thanks Speedbird. Search function now shows up.

Maybe the rest of you shouldn't be so hard on a new guy asking for info when the touted "search function" isn't even available to him/her.

Don't plan on going to Gojet, anytime you have to lie about your employer that's a good sign that you should have been there in the first place. Gojet = no future. I hear a lot are going to places like Virgin America and Skybus or leaving 121 flying cause they can't find work.
lol, i dont know of any regional airline that is respected by their colleagues??

Default 2 phone calls... JUST 2!!

And I found your info as to your "Colleagues" new places of employment to be WRONG! Try Skybus, where one of your sterling "founders" is now trying to be a checkairman, down in MIA. Come on, dude... You are going into the United States Air National Guard.... Be proud of that... But dump the blojets rhetoric... You made a mistake, you circumvented a CBA, you trod upon those who worked for the opprotunity that you stole.. Admit your mistake... Blojets won't last forever... It will become like your case of the herp... It may blow up once in a while, and you may never know when, but you have it in check, don't you???

Sure the majors may hire you. Sure you might walk around with your id badge showing proud. But in my mind, you are not a very bright person.

Why would you want to work for a company that was founded the way it was?

How could you possibly respect management?

How is your company helping the industry?

Is GoJets setting standards that other airlines should follow?

Why do you think you are right in the matter, and 95% of the informed pilot group thinks you are wrong?

I have attached an image, please use it as your avatar. It is the image that you project to all of us.

Many pilots don't respect the management they work for. What makes management respectable anyway? If they are loyal to the stockholders then they will go for big profits at the expense of our salaries.

How many regionals are "helping" the industry? Most are undercutting each other and keeping wages low. Many regional pay increases have not kept up with the cost of living inflation. A race to the bottom

XJT, AWAC and SKW are probably the only regionals that have good contracts. Others such as ASA, Chataqua, etc. have descent work rules, but hardly good.

I don't think most pilots are as informed as they think they are. Furthermore the opinions voiced on these forums are hardly an accurate cross-section of pilot opinions. How many CAs at majors even know about GoJets?

I personally wouldn't go to GoJets, but to each there own. However, if you do go there don't be bitter when you get flamed. In researching the company before your interview you wouldn't have to look hard to find that you won't be winning any popularity contests by flying for them.

I am very proud of going to the ANG..And no they are GJ pilots in the places i told you...as far as the skybus...yes he is in MIA and with him are USAir guys too.I totally agree..GJ won't last forever..i stole no opportunity..it was given to them and they turn it down..sorry...their MEC pretty much screw them....that is a fact......Again...companies are using pilots...pilots are using companies...its a circle...I worked for my job..like you did for yours..

I will be honest...I am totally against GJ/TSA managment..but you know TSA guys do absolutely nothing to prevent what is happening to them...NOTHING
And that is SAD...

Why very senior TSA guys(check airmen to be exact) left TSA and join GJ..?
Same money...same seniority....
Guys....I am not saying GJ is the best company but its a good place to work..we have some very experience pilots...like every other company...I like it..my personal preference... as far as the guy in MIA..he was TSA assistant Chief pilot befor GJ...look..GJ is just another regional....thats it...i am not gonna be there for long..few more months....You never know maybe i ll be in one of the companies i mentioned...
my opinion

You may not, but PLENTY of your colleagues do. I have personally witnessed them doing it, because they realize, as apparently you have not, that they suck at life and knowingly skrewed over other pilots. In fact one go jet pilot I'm personally familar with because we went to the same university, went to the trouble of changing out of his entire uniform before getting on the TSA crew bus to the TSA parking lot because it was closer to his pad. This of course ****ed me off to no end for a number of reasons. #1 I couldn't believe my university would create such an idiot. #2 I had just finished my last trip before getting furloughed because d-bags like him exist. And #3 there were no other TSA guys there to give him a ton of **** that he deserves. This same pilot also commutes, and of course dresses in street clothes, and runs to the back without checking in with the capt. Choosing to use non-rev passes instead of standard jump seating. He's actually a big enough a**hole to try and pull this off on TSA. This is the GJ pilot I most familar with, but I've seen PLENTY walking around the training center/airport with their ID's in their pocket or on backwards. The reason for this is simple. They know what they did was wrong, and they're ashamed of themselves, as you should be.
