Hey rick,
I didn't get sent home during the interview. I went through the whole thing and then got a letter in the mail so I'm not exactly sure of what I missed. I know I could do the sim better and I've been practicing in sims a lot besides flying with my students. I've gotten almost 200 hours already since my interview. Also I just got a n intro book on jepps that I've been studying (i've been on NOS forever). I'm doing my ATP written here in a month just to get it out of the way (plus I've been studying the stuff for the last several months) I don't have anything to work on the mechanical test or the CRM. I'm not sure what they were looking at there but i'm sure it could always be better. I got my systems down except for electrical (anyone have a schematic for an Aztec F model?) and that's one that they asked me.
I think I know what to prep for since I was already there and know the format. Whatcha think?

Doesn't sound like any one specific thing was a problem, but you have identified some soft spots to work on.

If you are on NOS you need to get the Jepps down solid...almost the entire 121 world uses them, and they will be on every interview.

Doing the ATP written will help with the quiz. For the mechanical aptitude, get a prep book for the military ASVAB test...that should cover mech aptitude type questions (any chain bookstore will have this).

With any CRM eval, they want to see:

1) That you are not a wallflower and are reasonably assertive.
2) That you are not a 172 sky-god who thinks he can run the whole show solo.
3) That you can interact with helpful input at the appropriate times.

Try to strike a balance between overbearing and not participating...
