I saw that there was a skywest group interview coming up in Chicago on January 10th. the website doesn't say where it is yet or what time. Just wondering if anyone has any info on that yet

Their website doesn't even say anything about a Chicago date - just what's scheduled for this month.

Where did you see that info?

A little too much beer last night?? You do realize my avatar isn't me and that I'm a guy, right??

Not that there's anything wrong with that...LOL (Gotta love Seinfeld)

Seinfeld rocks. I just saw that episode a few days ago.
The skywest careers page has the date for Chicago on January 10th. Still no time or location. We'll just see what goes down.
Any recommendations for someone waiting on thier six months for the group interview? Anyone?

Keep flying. They love people on there 2nd interview, shows that they really want to work there. If you had a major screw-up that you got sent home for, know what you did or said wrong. They may ask you. Show up with a smile, and be excited for the CRJ or EMB.

Go in prepared, ESPECIALLY on areas you were weak on before, have a positive attitude, and you have a VERY good chance of getting it. Also, relax, you've done this before, it's just a rehash.

That would be a tough call. I already have 1300 in a jet/glass environment (former 121) and ORD is close to where I live right now so that would be the CRJ. However, the EMB offers domiciles closer to home (and much warmer weather!) with, at the moment, a little quicker upgrade. Getting PIC in a reasonable amount of time is a factor given my age.

Of course, it's a moot point - I still have to get through the interview process and Indoc.

If you think you want to upgrade on the bro for quick PIC, try to get hired into the bro right seat. That way you get to learn the airplane before you upgrade.

Bro upgrade from the right seat of the jet would be challenging if you have never flown it before.
