Moonwolf, we are picking up more Wisconsin people each class, your future is so bright don't let it get you down. You have so much to look forward to! what a great business plan you all have.
I don't understand the business? The business of undercutting and becoming the lowest common denominator. Yeah I'd say your doing great. As Beechnut mentioned, no people are moving to psa from air whilly. Maybe guys that wash out of training or ioe. Don't worry they won't have another dual flame out.
Please tell me the type of medication you are on, I know from friends at psa the moral is a lower than the bar you guys set.

Hiring would really need to pick up and another problem(at least at my airline), is that at least half if not more of the attrition here is FOs leaving for spirit, allegiant, virgin, etc. A lot of Captains are waiting for Delta/American/United, etc. For all the large jets that come on property usually means more parked 50 seaters. To think that regionals that have a bunch of 50 seaters are going to replace those planes 1 for 1 is very delusional. Any "growth" will generally be at the expense of another airline. I am a fairly senior captain and I very rarely move up. The days of short upgrades may return but hiring at the majors needs to be firing on all cylinders and you need to find an airline that isn't choking to death on mostly 50 seat aircraft.
The combined Delta has just over 11000 pilots. The regionals (DCI) have about half of what they had in 2001...All while the majors continued to shrink with retirements... The %$^(# attacks gutted the industry then age 65 stagnated that another 5 years... yea it's been horrific for some of us.

I think it is quicker on the ERJ than CRJ but in either case I think you are looking around 7 years. Probably will get worse since they are planning on winding us down if we don't pass this TA.

In one sentence, the summation of where the industry is where it is.
