What a joke! I had an ALPA card burning ceremony in my driveway after my last flight at Comair! A year to the day we ended I had to sign my ALPA paperwork at another ALPA represented regional! Felt so wrong and dirty! Kicking myself for giving this career one more chance!
I think ALPA is trying to save face after having their way with the regionals! Hope this is a good sign. Wish you the best at Expressjet and Eagle! Hopefully you guys can set a new tone in the regionals! Way overdue these days!

The question is will the pilots at regionals fall for their feeble attempt to make it look like they are concerned about regional pilots ?
They're saps if they do. Moak's letter to Eagle pilots months ago is more truthful about where they stand than this smoke job. Now that several regionals pilot groups have abandoned the interests of national and made them essentially irrelevant to their chums in airline management, they have to go to a full-court press to try and reel the regional pilots back in. If the new Envoy pilots shoot down their ALPA contrived garbage agreement, it will make it a clean sweep.

It appears that ALPA has seen the wave it has been instrumental in creating and is now trying to get to the front of it.
Pathetic.

I don't know who you work for but I have taken a stand along with 83% of my pilot group to do what is right for the whole profession. Not just for us but for whoever might come after us and those that are presently in this industry. So can you reiterate how I have failed so far?
Ultimately, pilots will need to go a few steps further than casting a ballot if they want to see this profession restored. Until they understand that, they have failed.

Must not be because you won't find many people that will be willing to go to jail for this. I think we are agreeing on the same thing but just phrasing it differently. I am all for taking a stand and fighting for what is right but just as I am wiling to do that I can guarantee a lot more people who won't. Like I have said before, if pilots are unwilling to take a stand on a TA that was produced then you should expect them not to also stand beside you on this fight. By the way, who do you work for?
