This video just sent me over the edge. To me it sounds like ALPA is getting a little worried of losing their regional pilot dues.
I say screw 'em, push for quality equal pay in the regional ranks or strike! ALL OF US. US regionals currently have over 50% of the lift in the U.S.
We better get moving before we don't have that much power anymore.
Sorry rant over...just tired of hearing so many lies! I may sound totally ridiculous, but I just needed to get that off my chest. Hopefully it had merit.

Come on guys!#@! Read through your prompter a few times before taping, you'll sound like less of a dork. You're losing an important message to half hearted production quality.

Say we do strike....all of us at the regionals, as one (highly unlikely, but lets think about it.) Per the RLA, they fire us all...and the replacements will come from...where?? We have quite a bit of leverage these days I think, if we would just unite.

I just got the email, and wondered what the reaction was on the forums.
I like what Capt Moak spoke about at around 4:37 where he says ALPA will "call on airline brands to take more responsibility for their carriers." Heck yes!! Of course we need action, not just words, so we will see.
I am also interested in what the ALPA regional meeting will accomplish, I believe next week. I missed at what time in the video that was. I believe Capt Bill Couette spoke about that. Gotta go take of the kid now...!

If it's going to happen, it's an executive task, and Moak needs to look himself in the mirror and then go do his job as the figurehead of ALPA.

There is no way...NO WAY that ALPA puts out this video if there is no truth in some of the accusations being made against them. Historically political organizations including unions don't respond to "no confidence" movements without at least some elements driving such being true. Plausible deniability is their game..poor ALPA.
