Sorry I missed this if someone can explain. I know its 50 hrs multi now for the ATP but what is 25 + 25sim. Multi Sim that counts towards multi time for the ATP? Where, how, what?

Up to 25 hours in a "full flight simulator" representative of a multi engine aircraft may be counted toward the 50 hrs time in class requirement for the ATP. Most take that to mean a Level C or D sim, though I haven't seen that in writing.

I hate to take this thread a little off course but if they are not taking people into classes who they can put through right now with an ATP my spider sense tells me that there really is no "looming shortage" I would have just assumed that the would get as many people on board as possible now before this really gets expensive.
