Maybe this is hard to understand, but I think a lot of us that are trying to fight the good fight view PSA's acceptance of that concessionary contract as a slap in the face. Maybe you should go read that "Insanity of Concessions in 2014" thread.

Upgrades and flow. New hires look at that way more than a strong contract, just look at who is still finding new hires in the current market (PSA, Compass, Mesa). 90% of the guys who go to regionals do so to do their time and move on, not make a career of their garbage regional.
Edit: forgot to mention Skywest, they seem to have the best of both worlds.

Not true, I recently received an offer to interview and am much more enthusiastic. Were not as stupid as you think if your logic was correct GL wouldn’t have any problems, and they would be funneling pilots to mainline so fast they would be bumping you off your jump seat.
Thanks to all the Eagle pilot group and the MEC

Instead of focusing on the unfortunate actions of what I think is the minority of pilots, I just want to express my gratitude to the bold actions of the Eagle pilot group and MEC. I think in one way or another it will pay off for all of us, and I intend to use it as an example of how it should be done!

Oh no, ALPA does think it is a bluff and they are now doing a counter-bluff to the management.
Basically, since the company has threatened to wind-down, ALPA is threatening to steer pilots away from the company. Management will soon be on their knees backpedalling so as to not increase the attrition rate. Look at what happened at 9E when management said it might downsize-attrition skyrocketed and its still remains high till this day. Eagle management will surely have to come out and retract now that all the negotiations are clearly done.
Eagle management, time to stick that tail between your legs-you have lost!
