Bad for Eagle pilots good for other regionals especially the group who gets the aircraft that were earmarked for Eagle. Seriously regretting my decision to turn down Compass now.

I think it is yet to be determined. This vote came at a good time. With the pilot shortage, who are they going to staff new airplanes with? If they cant find anyone, they will have no choice but to staff the airplanes with pilots that it already has. Now here is the catch. If they shrink eagle and eagle pilots go to PSA, management wins. However, if more airlines stand up for better contracts, a lateral move could be beneficial to eagle pilots as long as they do not accept a lower pay. Its all up to us as pilots what happens next.

I made the decision expecting Eagle to pass the AIP, unfortubately blind rage and misguided passion appear to have won the day. The AIP did suck but it gave us a fighting chance to get new hires with the flow carrot. We can't hire pilots as it stands because the contract all you guys so vehemently defended sucks. It's not like we were comparing our pre BK contract to the AIP.

Oh well, another bad decision in a long line of them for me. If I had half a brain I wouldn't have become a pilot in the first place.
