I asked that weeks ago on the union board and NEVER got an answer. So good luck finding out!

With that kind of overwhelming statement of NO, there at least need to be a complete overhaul of the Negotiatiing Committee.

Nothing. Everything remains status quo.

Are you volunteering? I'm sure our Chief Negotiator would be glad to have your "expertise" during the next round of negotiations. Remember, he's the same guy that was involved in the drafting of the 2011 CBA, the one in which we currently work under. Don't underestimate his ability as a negotiator.

There are two sides of the table, remember that.

So... is it status quo or are we going back to the table?

Serious question, why is every union response always "are you volunteering?" I would say yes, but I doubt that a new agreement can be hammered out in less than a week.

Only reason I said changes need to be made are the pilot group just overwhelmingly voted NO on the LOA. Honestly, the ExCo should not be part of the Negotiating Committee. NC should report to the ExCo, but there needs to be some fresh blood sitting down at the table if there is a next time around.

As far as I know, status quo.

We ask that question because some pilots like to gripe but when it comes to doing work, they'd rather sit back and let someone else do it. There's very little benefit in it for me, but I do it anyway to improve the lives of those around me. Same goes for our ExCo, Negotiating Committee, Stewards, and Committee members. You do a LOT of griping ctab, but I don't see you doing much work on behalf of your fellow crew members (honestly that could be because I don't have the faintest idea who you are, so correct me if I'm wrong).

I agree, maybe the NC could use some fresh blood, but I wouldn't replace the Chief Negotiator. He's an asset. The no vote is a good thing, especially how overwhelming it was. It shows that we are standing together, not ready to accept anything less than what we're worth. For now, we maintain what we've got and make progress when we can.
