Relax Captain Literal, I'm sure a lot of us picked this one simply because we enjoy flying, and because it fits better than the other reasons. I'd rather fly with someone doing it because they enjoy the job than someone who's in it for the money (delusional) or for the rank or wearing the spiffy uniform (vain). It doesn't mean we don't care about the money either (also delusional).

I see your point. You must admit though, there are those out there willing to fly just for the sake of flying itself. Those folks are dangerous to those of us combining our passion for flying with the career it can provide.

For the record, I'm in this business for 7 of the available 10 options. But I won't do it "no matter what." :cool:

it is the closest to a videogame i could find. i would have just gone the professional videogamer route but sadly i cant afford online play right now to improve my game. hopefully when i make a decent wage i can start honing my skills online and get sponsored to join Major League Gaming. the irony is sad.

Sunrises/Sunsets are a pretty big % of it.

How about because it's a non-traditional job and a lot of us would rather cut our wrist rather than spend one day in cubicle hell.

But really, the F16 was cool and all. The mission was sweet and war was fun.

Out of them all, I would say my most fun was flying with you younger guys on the RJ. Let me tell ya, UAL isn't that fun compared to a nice 16 hour overnight in LEX, ALB, CAE, or wherever else with a great crew.
