I agree that it didn't mention any potential downside...but none of the letters we get from Val, Rich, or any of the NO letters ever acknowledge any of the TA's positives.

Well it is impossible for Envoy pilots to have 100% of the AA classes when PSA was already contracted to 4 pilot/month or 25% of hiring. AA cannot just override the new TA at PSA. She was either unaware or not being truthful.

The pay cut in the very similar deal at PSA cost me $330,000 over the life of my career if i decide to stay at a regional.
This is the loss of pay from year 12 thru 18. Plus 401k matching etc.

A f/o could take 6 years to upgrade. Therefor stuck at year 4 pay.

And the biggest kicker of this agreement is the 10 year deal.
10 years is beyond acceptable. If they want a 10 year deal then they should have to pay dearly for that kind of security.
Oh your author forgot to mention this monumental item.

I'm on my phone so I can't type out a proper response right now, but honest question:

Does PSA have 4 flows per month or 4 interviews? There is a big difference between the two and I honestly don't know the answer.

Either way, they are 4 to the US Airways side. Once the certificate mergers are complete the Eagle TA would still stand: The first 30 new hires at AA would come from Eagle. If AA only hires 30 in a month then all 30 would come from Eagle.

That's where the PSA holding til dec 31st of a given year will come in. Inevitably there will be months where more than 30 are hired and in those months PSA will probably fill out the rest.

PSA has guaranteed interviews. Of those interviews 4 job offers must be made per month. So you personally aren't guaranteed a spot at AA but 4 guys per month are.

When are the results from the vote announced?

Having dealt with AMR, let me explain how this would work. Envoy could get 100% and PSA nothing. If all Envoy pilots get AA numbers, it would be a inter company transfer. All the hiring would be done at Envoy not AA.

Thus no AA hiring for PSA pilots to go to class.

I strongly disagree.

actually Swedish blender could be correct. if there are no new hires which is the operative and are instead transfers from AE to AA then there a no new hire positions to interview for, does not exists. eagle currently has minimum required flow to aa by arbitration 20 pilots per month, but can be more. PSA pilots would have to go to arbitration to prove they were wronged if Swedish blender is correct
