I'm currently a 8 month FO with ASA and got an email today offering an interview with CZ. I haven't seen any updates lately but with the ones that can flow to Delta is it still a good time to go there or will it be stagnant by this point?

Not even close, lots of flows left to happen. Next year will have the same amount, as this. If you're interested I wouldn't wait.

Go interview. Make the decision once you have a job offer. Otherwise your debating something that might not even matter.

Go now if you're considering it. Don't wait.

I got a phone call from Compass as well. 6 months ago I was told I don't meet their mins. Without updating my airline apps suddenly now I'm qualified. Wonder if they're starting to have a hard time finding applicants. I would take it but I just cannot afford to take the pay hit again after going through initial just a few months ago in Atlanta.

Go for it. You'll upgrade a whole lot faster.

Go interview, if anything to have experience with that 3+ hour cog test they make you take.

I'd say definitely go for it. There is a LOT of movement happening now and there will be for quite a while as the flows keep moving up and out as well as guys going to United, Airways and JetBlue, etc. No stagnation going on at all.

It was a ~30 minute cog test when I took it 4 years ago. Guess it could have changed by now.

Last flow pilots this year will be leaving in/around August. Then it should** start back up again around March of 2015 dumping an additional 25%(or more as rumored) off the list until all flow pilots are gone by early 2016. Any FO hired today should be upgrading in appx 2 years - less if we get more flying - more if Delta stops hiring.

With the latest AE that was put out at Delta, I'm sure they won't be stopping anytime soon. If you are on the bottom at XJT, you might as well.
