Travel etiquette for interview
Drive to the interview.

If the airline is paying for the ticket.....business casual.
If it's on your dime....well, you can show up naked if you want, but probably won't make it past TSA. |
I'll tell you one thing....DONT CHECK YOUR BAG. I did it, still being new to the airline thing. Bag got lost in Charlotte and had to sit around Indy for hours waiting for the next flight to come in.

Business casual, no need to complicate it. But I refuse to believe you wont get a job at a region because you wore jeans and a t-shirt.

There are white collar pilots and there are blue collar pilots... Don't be a blue collar pilot.

if you do wear your interview suit on the plane, hope the 2 year old next to you doesn't accidentally spill his orange juice all over you ;)

I second using a garment bag. Go business casual, and take the suit in the garment bag. You can always get a lightly packed garment bag on board. Bring a soft-sided briefcase that will fit under the seat for any other things. I'd also bring some kind of protein snacks like beef jerky and have enough room in the bag for a water bottle. It's going to be a very long day.
