BTW, FWIW my credit was pulled.
Sounds like you chose the wrong profession: you should have entered the judicial system! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY doubt that they pulled your credit. Why would they spend the money? We're pilots, we're all broke(rj guys, at least).
To the op: they won't pull your credit.

By the way..."Capitalism without bankruptcy is like Christianity without the bible". Stick it to the man and file Ch 7. Bankruptcy is not just for the rich!
Agreed. Follow the airlines' example. A little disingenuous to fault a prospective employee for bad credit when, well ... the whole thing's enough to make a cat laugh. The real question is how someone can possibly avoid bankruptcy after getting hired by a regional.

OMG...my interweb street cred is in serious trouble! I've edited about 20 previous posts! No wonder no one takes me seriously!

You've GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. Interweb street cred? Really? Seriously? wow... that's a new one. This one's got to go to the Tool of the Day thread.

Just want to quote this before you edit that post as well.
Why do you care what he says about KeyBank?

KeyBank is not a good company. They used very questionable morals to originate flight school loans in the Boom of 2003-2007.

Take a look at this NYTimes article specifically about their illegal practices.

I wouldn't hire you either. How one handles their finances says a lot about a person. I can't imagine the Regionals would care but I would fully expect it to hamper your career:

If they were checking credit records of shoes salesman you don't think a real airline is going to take the time to do a little investigating?

Chill bro, Mesa is the place to be. Why so defensive? It's a great place to be, 2 month upgrades into the RJ heavy. What's not to love. With a recruiter like foz representing you, nothing an go wrong.

Does Mesa check credit? Do they check for a pulse or just a like warm body with sensitive nipples?

Facebiter, you are the "new" suck. Crap posts about sh*t you know nothing about.

BTW to the OP, decent question but at a regional I don't think anyone's looking at your financials. Like Loon said you should be good.

Hey broseph, I went through Mesa training. Luckily I got a call somewhere else right after IOE. The place is a legit dump.

Run man, it's rotting your mind as we speak. Soon you will be a drone like prior121.

Apply. See what happens.

And for anyone thinking about going into stupid debt to get into this career - let this be a lesson for you. DON'T DO IT.
