Default crazy stuff

I posted about a Mesa date about a month ago. Just got back on to read some of this. I have been a pilot going on 25 years. Going on 46 years old now. Been a Corp pilot for all of the ride. Are you who post here pilots or what? I have never seen anything like this. Very Unprofessional. Sound like a bunch of kids.

That's because a lot of them are kids, but if you think this is bad check out flight info and read some of General Lee's posts. He claims he's a senior Delta pilot. This forum is one of the better one's, I think

Amazing stuff. I can't believe these folks fly for a living. They are just so irate. My thoughts.

Your observation is mostly spot on. From someone with even more time in this business (30 years flying, 25 professionally, and 50 years old), I've noticed the same thing, for the most part. There are certainly a few folks here who know how to debate respectfully, but it seems the majority of posters here are relative kids. They shoot from the hip, are ALWAYS the smartest guy in the room, and know EVERYTHING (in their esteemed opinion, anyway). If one dares to disagree, they usually blast that person with some thinly veiled personal attack, then gloat about it. Absolute dead giveaway to their maturity level and (likely) young age.

It's not nearly as bad on the Major airline forum (although there are a few winners there too).

For some reason, respectful posts seem to be ever more rare these days.

You will find that sadly, this forum, to a large degree, mirrors the environment on the line.

Exactly. Every time I fly a trip with a guy who leads with how many years and hours and how professional he is turns out to be a huge tool.

Bonus points if he wears long sleeves and a hat.
