They shoot from the hip, are ALWAYS the smartest guy in the room, and know EVERYTHING (in their esteemed opinion, anyway). If one dares to disagree, they usually blast that person with some thinly veiled personal attack, then gloat about it. Absolute dead giveaway to their maturity level and (likely) young age.

It's not nearly as bad on the Major airline forum (although there are a few winners there too).

For some reason, respectful posts seem to be ever more rare these days.
I thought the same thing when I first started reading these forms; now I kind of that think of it as locker room talk, it seems to mostly be the same 2 dozen people posting. This entire forum seems to mimic the “top gun locker room scene”.

How about cops in short sleeves with the forearm tattoos?

I personally don't like the short sleeve with tie look either. It always reminds me of Dwight from The Office:

Or Al Bundy. For the warmer months I usually just roll my sleeves up. It is cleaner and looks something like this:

But to each their own. I don't judge how other people dress as long as they are not sloppy. The important thing is to buy clothes that fit. The 90s are dead and baggy clothes need to be burned in an incinerator.

If you are wearing a uniform that is too baggy for you then you end up looking like a kid who borrowed his dad's suit. Get clothes that fit, fellas!

TBH Dwight looks more like a pilot in that picture than haircut does in the second.

I agree, there are some immature people on here but thats the regional model....We're not paid like real professionals-many act their pay grade. The model exists to place the cheapest, least experienced (youngest) pilots in a jet.

Many have grown out of that immature faze but they are still trapped here due to a stagnant job market.

Just wait another 2-3 years until the new era of wonder pilot kids enter the job force and come on this forum-there a lot more used to social media and have lots more attitude to share with all of us on the web.

I would agree, additionally haircut appears to either have an itchy arse or about to pull out his glock.

If you want to see real grown up men and women acting like children then go read the threads in the Majors section about Delta vs. Alaska.

I luckily dont have any forearm tattoos, but the tattoo on my upper arm is just about visible at the bottom of short sleeves, so long sleeves are a requirement in my opinion.

I would have thought visible tattoos such as a forearm tattoo would have to be kept covered by company policy.

That thread reminds me of the fight scene in Anchorman
