Why even bother to go unless you need the testing and interview experience? Even if they hire you its just a matter of time before they start to furlough. With all the planes being parked on the erj side something has to give sooner or later.Personally, I would look elsewhere. Just my $0.02

You bother because the ASA crj is hiring, nothing to do with erj parking. We don't even have a joint contract yet it's basically two different companies, if a crj base works your commute/live then take it.

Thanks for the input. Fwiw I have 4 interviews and have definitely considered what you have said.

So crj is the Asa side and erj is the ExpressJet side?
What are junior crj bases?

But you move up really quickly if you stay there.

Yes ASA CRJ and "old Expressjet" is ERJ. Two different contracts different Airlines with same uniform and call sign but every other aspect is different.

So is there any one side that is "better"than the other?

That depends on the person.

Right now crj is "better" because it's the only one hiring. Better in general would depend on each persons scenario too many variables

I worked a Metro IV incident last week. Forgot that pilots worked that hard.

Just curious, I flew the Metro II's and III's, was the IV a corporate version?
