The envoy pilots will one day need a PSA jumpseat, there is probably Envoy crews that use PSA at this very moment to go home and see their families. Also think of newly hired Envoy and PSA pilots who have no bone in the fight because they are brand new to the industry. Are they at fault too? Of course not, people need to go home, and see their families, why would you take that away from someone? Of course they're at fault, they chose to help crew the undercutters at PSA that voted for concessions when everyone else(at Envoy, Silver, Expressjet, and Republic) was voting NO to stop the profession's decline! |

I have been at Eagle for 20+ years. PSA is not the first selfish airline I have seen in my time. Nothing I enjoy more than looking each one of you in the eye and saying "no jumpseat available for PSA". So yeah.. I am Captain tough guy you selfish little stain on the industry. |

This one has nothing to do specifically with PSA per se so I figured I'd make a cameo. Removing a non-revenue passenger "just because" will not be looked up favorably. We don't need to be a "jumpseater" anymore to ride on eagle or legacy AA. |

They'll be in negotiations for 2-3 more years and still won't get close to PSA's QOL and pay. Who wins then? Definitely not the pilots. You're welcome for raising the bar. |

It's a common courtesy to say hi to the crew and ask for permission. Don't let these dorks online change that. You always want to show appreciation if not riding on your own metal. If the captain denies you, then say thanks for your time and get on the next flight to work or home. Contact your jumpseat committee. Most eagle pilots aren't stupid enough to start a jumpseat war but there are a few exceptions. Neither are PSA pilots stupid enough to retaliate due to one or two denials which I have yet to hear about.
