I'm sure the terms will be great, here fly these planes with 100 pilots you don't have until we decide in 3 months we really don't want to fly these planes anymore.

Ok, so the way to show that Endeavor is the preferred DCI carrier is to take their airplanes and give them to other DCI carriers? Oh, and not hire people who have applied under the EtD? Makes sense.

Who will be the lucky winner for delta flying

These planes are the youngest in the fleet. 38 have also been refurbished recently. They could very easily be replacing some of the older aircraft at ExpressJet or SkyWest. The only DCI carriers that operate the -200 are ExpressJet, Skywest, and Endeavor.

They sent the newest ones to the sand. We kept the oldest.

Just to stir the pot a little more there have been rumors that Mesa has been working on something with Delta. I can't imagine they'd want to get back into the 50 seat game again, but I guess if the price was right...

Exactly, Endeavor attrition has outpaced their schedule for parking the 200's. Once they Delta can bring their 717's on line and all the 900's are delivered, I believe those 200's will be sent to the desert as well

Mesabah 10-04-2014 10:38 AM

They could be place holders for our 900's eventually too.

Who knows, I trust Delta about as much as, well actually I don't trust Delta. And Cue 80 knots to say "that's just business "
