That seems risky, what happens if they can't staff them? What happens when United decides it is done with 50 seaters? If it were 76 seaters the decision would be easier but the parking of 50 seaters is inevitable as airlines struggle to keep 76 seaters in the air the next few years.

Yea this is pretty risky, they might be able to staff them with "displaced" pilots in the short term but what happens in a year or two with majors hiring and nobody coming through the CFI pipeline?
