Default Pilot's planes

Ok I know several airline pilots that own thier own plane. I'm just wondering what kinda other equipment people have out there.
I have my own list of planes I want to fly or own someday. Let's see if I can manage any of these.

DC-3
P-51
Corsair
Stearman

Any of these possible first year?

Maybe I'll have to stick with the Piper Cub that is later on in the list.

First Year where? DC-3 or P-51 I think not unless you are independently wealthy before you start.

Well, you could go to Stallion 51 in Kissimmee Florida and ride in their two place TF-51. I considered it a few years ago, but its pricey. Check out their website:

I'm not an airline pilot but I own a 2004 Cirrus SR20 w/ the Glass Cockpit. Very roomy and a lot of fun to fly!

dc-3 could managable in a couple years, if you hit the airshow circuit, still mx will be killer (round engines = $$). a stearmen is a reasonable option, i know alot of guys who own them at an airport i taught at. the corsair and p-51 might require a little more, like a corporate sponsor.
