I read forums, talk with major/LCC, 135, 91 pilots and flight instructors, and cannot get over the fact that regional pilots (not all but most) are very juvenile. The comments I hear and read regarding the industry are at times idiotic. I rarely read any corporate or major/lcc (or even flight instructors) sling so many insulting comments at one another as I do regional pilots.
Why is this? Besides the age (mostly newbies) in the regional industry, there's no reason we should be behaving like this. Nobody's d**k is that much bigger than the next guys, but yet most of you need to puff your chests out and throw insults at each other.
We are all in the same game, suck it up and try to act like men. If we would just stick together we could make a change, but I fear we are too far gone to have that happen.
Instead lets just keep slinging sh*t and bring this industry even farther down the drain.
Well said!

Dude, this thread is a bunch of bull****.. If flown a mix of different airliners, with different missions and all I can report to you is juvenile behavior exists on all levels. You can't just throw regional pilots or any other group of pilots into the deep end and label them a bunch of children. Did someone **** in your cereal bowl or something?? I'd take my flight case home with me if I were you, cause thats probably next... LOL

Go sit in a PPL ground school class at any school and say that pilots in general are not juvenile. Nothing but chatter of regional airline FA's and buying houses in Vail with 2nd year pay. It starts somewhere and ends nowhere.

Well, to be honest facebiter.... You are way to negative. You get on threads, trash airlines, trash pilots, and people in general. I think you need to be a little more positive. We may be under paid, work for worthless management, and go through furlough and bull#&*@ but, it honestly beats walking into a cubical and being miserable at work. I fly with awesome people and see amazing places in the world that most people don't get to see. I may be underpaid while doing it but, I also knew this coming into this career, I'm sure you did too. I know this is a Web page to voice opinions but would it kill you to be a little more positive?

• An Air Line Pilot shall refrain from any action whereby, for his personal benefit or gain, he take advantage of the confidence reposed in him by his fellow members. If he is called upon to represent ALPA in any dispute, he will do so to the best of his ability, fairly and fearlessly, relying on the influence and power of ALPA to protect him.

Elohel, where is the section on regional ALPA carriers stabbing each other in the back? Heck of a union. Five stars.
