Default Commuting to CLT via CRW or ROA?

Hi all,

Going to be commuting to CLT but trying to decide where from. CRW and ROA are both the same distance away so it doesn't really matter which one.

Wondering how full flights from each to CLT are and how many commuters are in each place. Any other info is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Colgan has a CRW base I believe, may check that out and not commute.

ROA is a Piedmont base and some mainliners commute to/from CLT from there as well. It can be messy, especially if it's Dash -100 where u can't get the jumpseat. I would say go with CRW first, or in a pinch HTS or LYH also work if you get stuck at CRW or ROA.

Neither. Drive. Those two destinations out of CLT and getting out of either will be ridiculous.

You'll be able to check loads out of both cities so you can decide the morning of your commute which looks better. The commuter policy at PSA (assuming thats where you'll be working) doesn't require you to commute out of one particular city.

PDT has 8 flights a day from ROA to CLT, but only 1 from CRW-CLT.. PSA has 2 flights a day from CRW to CLT.
