I have a few good friends there, but they're all trying to get out. That place is a nightmare! I think many of the new hires from the last few years have been fooled by RAH, but their time will come in sure. Upgrades are around 7 years now, so don't go to RAH for the upgrade. Plus I hear the last bid award was mostly pilots who were awarded the 140 the prior bid (Is that even legal per the CBA?). Don't just wait for upgrade, put your apps out everywhere as a FO. |
All companies have their pros and cons, at least they have flying for years to come.

Well at least as long as they can staff the flying. Wouldn't plan on upgrading if you go to RAH now.

Is RAH really that bad?
This forum is such a rumor mill it's not even funny. So many people talking out of their ass. Career FO? Are you joking me ? If you think a 4-5 year upgrade is a career a suggest you get a new one. That's what the upgrade is going to be here if you get hired today. It could be 3 years if we hire and get a new contract or it could be longer but jeez the whining is getting annoying. This place is what you make of it and it's different for everyone at a person to person level. There are FOs at RAH getting lines right out of training on the republic side.
