NEVER say NEVER. Colgan Sold out to Presidential back in the day when the Senator had only 9 airplanes. Now they have ...?
Not saying it will happen, not saying it won't.

Well, let me be the first to apologize for my harsh criticism. I was wrong.

However, having heard hundreds of outlandish rumors, one has to have a dose of doubt in everything you hear. And I'm still shocked that the Colgans would sell themselves out of lifetime employment like this. As soon as their incompetence is seen by the folks at PNCL, they'll be figuring out how to make that 20M keep them out of the unemployment lines.

Who knows, it could turn out to be positive for Colgan Air?

I think it could mean growth for colgan with an influx of cash. PCL still holds more saabs, which will become available. I do see them making some changes down the road. I hope this doesn't turn into a whipsaw game. I don't know whats in the pcl pilot contract, but i dont see rj's coming over to colgan. I hope that this works out for both pilot groups. I'm still in awe over this. I feel like i got the wind knocked out of me!

Could this be a driving factor? Pinnacle buys us for cheap, Pinnacle notices we keep buying Saabs...Pinnacle has many Saabs....?

I'm sure the Saab factor was part of it. As was also mentioned in the PR, turbo-props are making a resurgence in the market and PCL decided they'd still like to play in that arena.

I just think it's BS that they're keeping seniority/benefits/pay separate between companies. I refuse to become a whipsaw to lower the bar for the PCL pilots in contract negotiations. I'm all for an ALPA vote at Colgan immediately. We need to merge and vote as one to avoid being played against one another.

I'll quit before I'll work for an airline that's used like GoJets against its sibling company.
