Unless you go to Comair because SkyWest didn't call you soon enough, Comair goes belly up in a year, you go to SkyWest and now are a year behind the guys who waited a few more months to go to SkyWest. There are plenty of guys here at XJT who jumped at the first regional to offer them a job and are now a few hundred numbers junior to me on the list. I don't blame them, I would've done the same thing but I got lucky and can appreciate hindsight.

Lobmoth where did you hear 600/50? 50 multi seems pretty low, I would've figured 100me is pretty much the low bar across the board besides ASA's posted 800/50. Either way good luck with your interview, I have a friend in training currently, he loves it so far.

I got 600/50 off airlineapps.com, the interview (Jan. 23rd) went great and unless the worst case scenario happens and Comair goes belly up, I can't see why it'd be a bad place to work. Yeah 50 is fairly low but they're hiring like crazy and it sounds like they'll take just about whatever they can get. They told us they need to hire 450 pilots by April... almost hard to believe.

I just turned in my app last night and got an email two hours later to interview. And I'm at 700/60. I was pretty surprised actually. So go ahead and apply if you haven't. Not sure if I'm going to take it given all this contract talk, when I can just wait for someone else, who I'd rather work for anyways.
