XJT gone in 2018?

With United contract expiring at the end of 2017 and no additional aircraft coming down the line, it seems that end of XJT is approaching fast. Just about everyone is trying to get out but for those that will be stuck at XJT till the end, ALPA usually offers preferential interviews for furloughs or liquidated carriers. Can any COMAIR guys chime in on how it worked for them and what to expect?

Lol... A lot can, and will, change between now and 2018.

Welcome to the airline industry!

Is there any information out there that suggests the contract won't be renewed?

Ahoy, mateys! For your safety, remain seated with yer hands, arms, feet, and legs inside the boat. And no flash pictures. Prepare to make sail!

Para su seguridad, permanezca sentado con las manos, brazos, pies, y piernas dentro el barco. Y cuida sus niños. ¡Muchas gracias!

I heard from a ramper on the parking lot bus that the new Eastern Airlines is going to need 60 planes for a hub in VPS. Maybe XJT?

Ha! Good luck with that. Where are they going to offer these interviews? Herndon?

UAL contract expiring? Are you talking about the ALPA CBA or a CPA?
