If RAH doesn't exercise any of its AA 175 options that puts an additional 50 aircraft in play somewhere.

What's sad is that this "rumor" that you are parroting word for word was started by the Envoy NY Base Blast, which was made public on another forum. ALPA has no idea what RAH is doing with their aircraft OR their options. The fact that they would put this out there for their pilots as some sort of glimmer of hope is a bit pathetic to me. It is speculation at best.

AA has its own 175 options, which, in accordance with the contract Envoy passed last December, would go to Envoy if exercised by AAG.

You should be excited. It means you can finally be a captain at Envoy. Good luck with upgrade.

I think my response was misunderstood. There's been a lot of talk of the Large Regional Jets being scooped out, unless the CRJ 700's are reconfigured. My point is that included in those Large Jet orders that are scooping out Envoy is the 50 E175s that are supposed to go to RAH.

If RAH doesn't exercise any of its AA 175 options then that would allow 50 large RJ's to be operated at another carrier without scooping out.

You are simply not correct.

#of options doesn't equal the # of permitted aircraft. (Hint: it's way more than what is permitted.)
