i second all these posts. good to see you guys are noticing a distrubing trend in our society. i live in dallas, the land of nothing. the folks here send their worthless christian kids off to smu and baylor and ut and atm etc... to go get finance degrees and then its off to the ole mba farm for a return trip back to the bubble where mom just made a fresh pitcher of kool-aid. the whole society here is about making money off other people's money. i wrote a letter to Nancy Pelosi with the concern that our government does nothing to reward those students brave enough to pursue a degree in the advanced sciences.
don't forget TCU.
You guys have heard it: It's not what you know, it's who you know. It is especially true in aviation but also applies to any other career. Even if you're the smartest,fastest, most efficient, whatever, you're not going to get anywhere if you can't network and get your foot in the door somewhere.

By the way, just as a gesture of kindness, I can give you the phone number of a good Doctor at the VA hospital in Dallas. He may be able to help you readjust and enter society as a productive and balanced individual.
