My 2 C's
I go to the fishing department at walmart and there they have some fairly decent polarized glasses with a nice shade. They cost 10$. I have had no problems flying with them. I buy a couple pairs at a time and keep a spare and when they do get scratched, broken, lost, it is not a big deal.

I agree, plorized glasses do not always work so well. I have tried them in King Airs and there is a lot of distortion.
I use a pair of Oakleys that i have had for a few years now. they are the M Frames i had back from the college days while playing baseball. They fit well under my headset and they are the most clear glasses ive ever owned. You wont get that grey view and you never have to squint like you would with a cheap pair. only problem is you have to take care of em.
if you have the money invest in a good pair. they are the only eyes your gonna get

I wear a pair of serengeti's. They are non polarized drivers lenses (6835 Pisa model), even though I haven't flown anything glass yet. I'm real happy with them. Best part is they were free. gift from the gf. Free shades work for me lol. After using them though, it's a whole lot better then those 10 dollar ones I used to wear. Good quality shades are definetely a wise investment.

Agreed, go for the slightly more expensive shades if it's an option... Your eyes will thank you for it.
I've had my Ray-Ban's for 3 years now. I keep them in my flight bag in a hard protective case so I don't lose them.
