Default Accepting a Job, then Going Somewhere Else

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and to the airline interview world. I've got interviews scheduled at PDT, AWAC, Commutair, and Trans States. I already received a job offer from Mesa. The issue is that I have to respond to the job offer before I'm finishing interviewing at the other airlines. Is is kosher to accept the offer, interview, and then call them back and tell them I'm going somewhere else? What would you do? Thanks.

You are just a number to them... Do what is best for you and your family.

It's definitely not the first time that Mesa has had to deal with it.

Agree. In a case like this, I would do what's best for you and your family.

Go where the money is - Air Wisconsin or Endeavor.

Show the regionals that money DOES matter.

Come on over to PDT. We are getting folks from all of those airlines now. Reasonable upgrades, decent contract, and flow through if you want to be at American. I love it here and I've been here 3 years.

I work in a recruiting department, at a regional airline.

We have no problem with inviting you back if you call and decline our class the first time.

We DO however have a major issue with no showing a class, this will get you blacklisted.

So a lot of people picked other on the poll... Who would you pick? And why? Also thanks everyone for your input. I'll definitely give them adequate heads up if I get a better offer.
