Default PDT - hotels for commuters

Hi all,

Can anyone confirm that PDT do this? I have seen it mentioned on here but can't find it written anywhere. Feel free to PM me.

Thanks.

Yes and it's like an extra 200-400 in your pocket a month.

No only in your domicile. When you are on a multi day trip, like any other airline, hotels are always provided. The new commuter clause we have provides for 4 hotel rooms per month in domicile. It's 4 per month for outstation domiciles (MDT, SBY, ROA). It will be 2 per month for PHL when that domicile opens and for any domicile that has more than 100 daily AAG departures.

ENY does that as well, but also unlimited for any reason that dumps you in base if you should have had a hotel.

The 4 limit also doesn't apply to OT; you can request hotels for OT as well if needed for commuting.

PDT and ENY lead the way on not requiring or needing a Crashpad.

Indeed to all of the above. We also get it if we end up in base due to a wx emergency, but that was originally put in during he 2013 contract and is still there today.

Yeah, that's the only part - other than the OT - where I think ours is better.
Ours just basically says if you had a trip with 3 nights of hotels then you get 3 nights of hotels even if they all are in base. Those don't come off the 4 commuting hotels, nor off the OT hotels.
Most guys no longer have crashpads at all.
