Google the "National Driver Registry (NDR)". You can request a free copy of your driving record.....the same record that the airline gets when you interview for a job!

Ha I agree - speed traps are definitely used as a source of income. I got picked off in a small town in Texas, $150. Bastards.

I donated $220 to Minneapolis while driving around a rental car. It bothered me.

And they were nice enough to offer me a court date, which happened to be a month after I was leaving that state.

Thanks anyway!

Many places actually have yearly projections on how much revenue they want to get from traffic violations.

I agree with both you and fosters. I got tagged for doing 67 in a 65 while visiting the folks a while back, and yet I'm still waiting for them to find the mofos who snatched my stereo and made me R&R my entire dashboard (kidding...sort of). Might as well do the limit, I say, and tick off everyone else who wants to break the law. Just call me "pace car."
