Do you mean that the FAA will announce an NPDM?

Or do your sources tell you that the FAA will skip the mandated process and unilaterally change the rule?

I hear ya, kinda depression, hiring was just picking up good too. Wondering how it will affect some of the hiring at the regionals like, XJT, CHQ, AWAC, etc

Does anyone think that pilots who have retired in the past few months will return?

Last few months? This is going to take over a year or more to play out. Unions, management,IRS, etc. I say at least 3 years. Also I guarantee anyone over 60, is a FE forever.
