Wait.....you mean someone from Kent can do an internship with someone other than XJET!!!! Burn the witch!!!!

J/K Mike, hey man what's up. Good on ya for thinking outside the box! Nothing against XJET but there are tons of other opportunities out there which seem to go unnoticed there at Kent, although it is getting better. First try to find one that will pay you (goodluck). Pay is one thing bad about most aviation internships, and is what kept me from doing any while I was in school. Call me old fashioned but if I work for someone I would like a little pay in return. But that kept me from getting my nice shiny jet at 500/100 (instead, i'm flying an old crappy jet from the 50's ) . Before anyone attacks saying some kind of crap about them not needing you and how there are offering you a great opportunity, I know of one airline that eliminated a secretary position and just started hiring two interns to fill her position. But hey if they can get away with it there are always people willing to work for free and the company saves money, good for both parties.

I would take the advice on here an go with Alaskan or Horizon. I’m sure you would have a blast with either one. I am partial to Alaskan but that’s because I would love to be able to travel up to Alaska for free. Maybe you could even find a job up there for when you graduate.

Do the internship at the company you want to retire at, not the company you want to start at. You're internship for a regional has a different title, it's called "CFI".

If an internship is your thing, more likely than not you'll have fun doing it. So you might as well do an internship that will get you ahead of the rest of us.
